Mother f#@@! !@#$ !@#$@!! Just went out to the garage, and a set of used LE2 Heads I picked up this past spring are GONE! Nothing else was taken!? No Tools, No other Parts...Just the Heads, Cam and Gasket Kit! It happened within the last 3 hours because I ran into Billings to grab some Dairy Queen with the GF. What I cant figure out is how in the hell they got into the garage because its was still locked up tight! I was so mad I threw an Air Ratchet it bounced off the wall and almost hit my car...

So far, 2010 can suck my nuts that what I though, ask your family member see if they mabe move it ( but to think of it, it heavy so mabe they not move it ). Im sorry to heard that, and hope who ever get it got punishment.

who else you know that has an lt1 engine?
thats the first place i would go snooping anyways..
would seem odd if that was the only thing taken, thieves will usually go after tools, and welders and air compressors, chainsaws and such because they're easier to sell off..
if those were the only items taken i would suspect someone you know fairly well and that has been in your garage..

Yeah someone had to of known about them, if I was a theif I would take other **** before a set of heads.
Think of everyone that has been to your shop for the last few months, like brucer said start snooping, and don't bring it up to the people you suspect. If you find the dirtbag, remember, a shotgun and a shovel fixes everything

Ohh damn that blows. Who has keys? Look at the door jams to see if some 1 tried to slide open the bolt... It would most certainly have to b someone you know. No one else would even know what they were for, or what kind of heads they even are. And you know for certain that they were there b4 you went to DQ? DQ is overpriced i hate that place, they robbed you as well. You have to have at least one friend that is some what of a thief. You know the 1 guy everyone works with who is always stealing the whole stack of gloves instead of just 1 pair like everyone else.
Even though most have already posted it... this screams inside job!
Time to inventory your friends, I'd start with the ones that like to run their mouths about everything. Odds are, they were talking up your goods with someone who doesn't consider you a friend.

Just moved to a new town. Filed a Police Report, they took finger prints and stuff. But they doubt anything good will come of it. Found out that even with the garage side door locked all you have to do is grab the door handle and push a little bit and it will pop open even when locked.
As far as OPSEC goes, no one knew I had them in this town. Hell I haven't even made any friends yet.

You can go ahead and send your spare engine this way........Im not in a very good mood. I would probably end up in prison (If I got caught) for Murder if I could get my hands on the person or people who did this. SRS
EDIT: I am thinking it is someone from my old town (160Miles) Away. Or someone seen the car sitting out front, Knows F-Bodies and had a general idea of what parts they are looking for. Any LT1 Owners in the Billings MT Area want to keep a look out for LT1 Cars Sporting new Heads and Cam please. I know 24th street on the weekend gets packed with young car guys/girls I might start looking there. See if some people can keep their ear to the ground for me.

Sorry to hear. That sucks. Do the police even care though? If that happened around here I think all they would do is say, "Oh well. If we find them great, If we don't life goes on." Most "average" people don't realize the value of things like LE2 heads.
