Thank you again for all the kind words! I am pressing on!

10/1

Over all tonight was a pretty productive night. I had a few setbacks but all in all progress was made. I was finally able to clean up the intake manifold and get it put back together and bolted on. I also got the accessory bracket cleaned up and bolted it back on again. Got the motor mounts on and dropped it in the cradle. Put the stall converter in the transmission and got that bolted onto the engine. I am hoping if things go as planned it should be going in about a week!

Update 10/7/10

I just buttoned things up getting ready to lift it back up into the car.. Things such as the power steering pump, ac delete pulley, throttle body, headers, fuel rails and injectors..

I also did some touch up painting to the engine bay.

Nice! I see you put the engine harness on before you put the engine in. How did you get the rest of the harness out of the firewall?

The passenger side looks nice with the touchup painting. Since we have the same color what touchup paint did you use?

We just coiled up the tail that went in through the firewall on top of the intake manifold and fished it through once the drivetrain was in. The harness was completely out of the car as this was a 93/94 swap.

This is what I used on the engine bay and the intake manifold. I used the same brand in Chevy engine orange on the block.
