Default Alternator support question.
In process of doing headers and just removed my alternator. There is one of the supports left which is black and connected to the manifold. Does this get reinstalled once the headers are in or can I throw it in the pile.

The one connected to exhaust manifold? I took the one that was connected to the intake manifold off a long time ago.

i got rid of both of them with the stock bracket and manifold before, and had no issues with it. the alt stays just fine with just the main bracket holding it.

I haven't ran the intake to alt support in 5 years, never had a problem.

Every alternator support on my car is gone with the exception of the two bolts that hold it to the alternator bracket.
