Ok i already blocked off the port running to what used to be the manifolds Ive seen the blockoffs on Jegs for the other port where the canister in. But I see theres lines running out of there as well, i asked my friend who has an LT1 and he said to just let that be. But with the EGR system deleted I would think that it shouldnt sit there. So besides just bolting on the plate what else do I need to do?

Get the block off plate kit and get the egr tuned out. A tune wouldn't hurt anyway with the mods you have.

Remove the valve, solenoid, and the tubing. Block off both holes left on the intake manifold, and you're done. Have the EGR control tuned out of the PCM.

And what "canister" do you speak of? The only canister I know of is for the EVAP system, located behind the driver side rear wheel.
