no they've had my burned up XS starter since the 31st and i still dont have it back. cliff notes....

Starter lasted less than 30 starts (20 deg crank advance)
Powermaster doesnt return phone calls
Said they'd fix it for free then charged 65 dollars to fix it

yea i called those idiots before i sent mine in and they took down all my contact info and a description of the problem. 11 days after they signed for it, i finally get ahold of them to ask what the status is... and my starter has been sitting on a shelf because they didnt know who's it was or what was wrong with it! it took 3 more days to get a call back on what was wrong with it, and for them to say it'd be 65 bucks. after i told them i wasnt paying, it took 2 more days to get a call from a supervisor who basically told me im SOL. so i paid, and told the guy i'd never ever buy another powermaster product, and for the rest of my life i would blast their company whenever i got the chance. He responded by taking off the shipping charge only is it really to much to ask of an "overkill" starter to last say... a year at least instead of days? When i was quoted a week for any repair no matter how serious... it doesnt make sense that 2 weeks pass before they even inspect it, after i hound them everyday by phone leaving voicemails (during business hours). damn ******* ptsd is kicking in im going to be mad all weekend

Why did you "upgrade" from stock.

Give it good cables and a stock starter will crank a LOT.

I bought some really thick cables when I put in my stroker, still running a stock starter.

I upgraded because my stock one was being sluggish. I didnt want to run the risk of having it crap out on me.The solenoid can get stuck at times too.

what size cables do you guys have on your battery relocations? you may need to upgrade. if you were pulling 20 degrees during cranking and it was still sluggish and killing starters i would look at the cables. a 4ga. or whatever from the trunk isnt big enough. i think i have 1/0 in my car.

I've never had sluggish cranking... it cranked over great and then it suddenly died.

its not so much sluggish as much as the solenoid can stick. I run #1 to the front then #4 to the starter. Plenty of wire. that an a yellow top optima
