Clutch Recommendations

I'll clarify.
For street use, it chatters WAY too much and there's absolutely nothing smooth about it.
For track use, it grabs like a mother and engagement wise it is either off or on, which is good, 0 slippage.
For my 90% street driven car I hate it, but for a track car I'd assume it'd be pretty good.

Gotcha. I was thinking about the competition clutch 2.5 or a spec clutch 2+ . Just not sure . The oem one I have now feels garbage. I fully disengage the clutch pedal and it doesn't quit grab but it doesn't slip either I have to let off the gas and then step on it and it goes.

Which clutch chatters the least? A buddy of mine said to go with Spec 3+ and I was also looking at the RAM Powergrip. RAM comes out right away and says there is a little chatter on take off, anyone have experience with the 3+ or any Spec clutch and if they chatter?

My Ram powergrip HD had no chatter. The spec 3+ is a great clutch but expensive and way way over kill for a bolt on car. I ran a Spec stage 2 on mine with bolt ons and it was good but I liked the Ram better

I have had the Spec 3+ for several years now and with around 10K on it, I am no longer happy with it.
When it was rather new, it gripped well and drove close to stock at best. It used to grab third but no longer.
I recently blew a TOB and when I pulled the clutch and noticed that there was noticable wear on the flywheel and pressure plate but nothing off of the disk. This might be accounting for the reduction in grip I am seeing. I will guess there is nearly .030" gone from both friction surfaces. Regardless the 3+ is Hell on parts.
My Competition clutch Stage 2 will be here tomorrow. Will give that a shot considering the price.
