That's an interesting twist because, from what I've read, CompCams' metallurgists and engineers spec the content make-up of the springs then provide that specific formula to the mill.

Comp then conducts "rigorous quality assurance" testing in three steps - tensile testing, surface inspection and chemical analysis. The chemical analysis is done ". . . to ensure that the material properties of the wire are precisely correct". Testing ensures the mill has precisely followed Comp's formula and is to Comp's specs.

Well anything you can tell us about them would be awesome, so far my PAC's have been awesome. I had them checked after 15K and they were flawless.

I’m glad your springs are performing awesome. We love to hear that. As far as what I can say..... We do tensile testing on the wire before we start to coil to ensure proper wire strength. They also go through fatigue testing and every new design is tested on our spintron to ensure proper valve control at all rpms.

Any springs that fail are examined by our metallurgists with state of the art technology including scanning electron microscopes, to find out exactly where and how the failure occurred.

we are always open to customer feedback. Any issues or comments please throw my way. We build these springs for for you!
