Sportsback hatch? Is that anything like the notchback hatches that pontiac used on some rare 3rd gen TA's?

Got any pics of that hatch? I don't remember ever seeing one before. Your car is moving out good. I'm hoping mine breaks into the 12's with just bolt-ons, but I'm just hoping to squeak into them....then hopefully mid 12's cam only. I think I'd like to leave it like that for a daily driver.

oh man ive done so many small things its hard to remember but i'll try for ya

moroso cai
air foil
trick flow elbow
ls1 driveshaft
pacsetter longtubes
3" true duals dumped
CPT pro race rebuilt 4l60e
SS3600 (BEST ****** MOD EVER)
madz28 mail order tune
Prostars
275/50/15 et street radials
!A/C
!cruise
!front bumper support
!swaybar
!stripped trunk
!air
!egr
!fogs
BONE STOCK SUSPENSION
BONE STOCK REAR END w/ 3.23's

*i remove my air filter and passenger seat at the track and put them back in on the way home*

i think thats about it. im sure im missing a few small things but thats most of it. imo its all about ATTENTION TO DETAIL and squeezing every bit of power out of the car u can. u dont need to make 800rwhp to run a decent number, u just need the right setup and right combo. every lil thing counts. i even remove all my change and antenna and front plate when i race. imo every bit counts.

the bolt on only record is 11.48 i believe. thats rediculouss, but i doubt that was a street car. im trying to get to 11.80 the record that held for like 5 years or something and was my orginal goal when i started modding. then im gonna pill it up and go for the P/A only record i think thats 10.89

Do an LS1 lid conversion and Chris1313 Ram air setup. Aluminum driveshaft, bigger stall, suspension.

Get someone to live tune it at the track.

You still have a lot left on the table

I can't make my mind up whether I like it or not.....guess I'd have to see the whole car. I bet it depends on the car too. Probably looks great on your black one. The should have made the back window removeable so you have the whole open air thing when the t-tops are out.

I think you will make it to 11.80's just fine. Lots of people claim 2 tenths/2mph just from the lid conversion....have ya tried icing down the intake? Shallow staging? Some cars respond well to flashing the convertor from an idle vs. bringing the rpm's up against the convertor on the line. Control Arm relocation brackets - sure that there are lots of suspension parts that help, but if I had to pick only one for you they get my vote. Any gains in 60' pay big time in the 1/4!! Sure you already know, but it bares repeating. lol

Oh i know there is a ton left on the table. I am going to do a custom cai setup, i got a sunoco pin on hood to add. Alot of weight to still remove. Full suspension. Gears. 1.6rr's. There is a ton i could do still. Its jus i have run out of money not working and living at college in a dorm room. I want 11's within the next two seasons.

My best with a 00 Z28 was 12.39 so I'm very impressed! That was Lid, LS6 intake, 3.73 gears, 3200 stall, Pacesetter longtube, ORY, Flowmaster Catback and full weight! (Also had a cutout but never got to make a run with it open in low temp weather)

Very nice!
