People need to realize the DA (density altitude) at the tracks that they are running at. Take for example New England Dragway in New Hampshire. Right now it is 43 degrees (11.55am) outside with a barometer of 30.19. The DA is -1191 feet, which is INSANE. That 14.2 run that you made with your car over the summer would be a 13.68 today at this track.

OSW? Its 106ft so times kickass in the winter. Still hot and humid though, so the DA has been in the 1,000s lately...I went the day before biketoberfest(13th) on my ninja to play with my new gearing and most of my runs were in around 1300 DA .

Was still around 80* with 70% humidity at 7pm...

I've never seen a "rules list" but there must be one since this site has BOLT-ON RECORDs, but from my thinking it is:

No cylinder head modifications other than springs/rockers and no internal engine mods or cam swaps. Pretty much everything else is open territory.

Most of the people ive heard claim about factory freak LT1's are the 93's. I wonder if its to do with the gearing and speed density.

yep 93's seem to be the quickest... I would have to attribute some of that to the gearing and sd tune aswell.
