Default Lower RPM hesitation

Cars running flawless, and this isnt a big issue, but ive noticed that my car seems to hesitate when im just sitting around 1000-1500 RPM and i just stomp it, it has about a second lag then it just throws me back and spins through first. So im really happy its just that lagtime has me a bit worried. New parts are Opti (GM), new plugs, new ICM, TPS sensor, Walbro fuel pump, new FPR, and new fuel filter. Only parts not replaced are coil and the plug wires. Could either of those cause a "lag"?
