anyone runnin a 6al-2?

i need a box and a 2 step so this looks like the way to go. i also need a timing retard. can i add the **** to this? what do u guys think of the new box? is it any better than the 6al? is it more resistant to heat?

I have the 6al-2 in my vette but its a gen 1. Never failed me but tis far from heat and extra sealed.

I had a 6al-2 programmable, and it was a good box. kinda spendy but it's as close as you can get to a 7530 for 300 bucks.
