What did you rewire and why did you rewire on the engine harness?

Have you checked your ICM if its failing? Lots of people have issues with them since its mounted on the front of the head and get heat soaked.

yeah i would lean towards icm or coil. if you have a friend with an lt1 car ask them to borrow their coil and icm. if it does end up being your coil go get yourself a msd coil. they are like 10 bucks more than a stock aftermarket replacement

Does it shut off when its hot? My TA did the same thing when it was hot, it would cut out and shut off and not restart until cool. My opti plug was corroded and broke.

No power to the scan tool might be a blown courtesy fuse or the cigarettes liter fuse.

You can unplug the MSD box and hook it up stock if they used an adapter harness...

I would think it could be the coil though....

Remove ignition module and take it to your nearest Advance Auto, they have a module tester for it.

you either have to splice into the wires going to the coil or purchase a direct fit harness from msd

X2 on testing the ICM, have them test it about 6-7 times so it gets warm, they seem to like to fail when their hot, and work when their cold.

possibly a stupid idea, but check your fuel pressure when it gets warmed up.
