Default MadHammer?

Has anyone tried this muffler that is supposedly GMMG's muffler? Just wondering because I'm considering changing the flowmasters on my 73 Camaro. Also not sure if this is the right place to post this but I usually post here.

Theres a really old thread on here where someone mentions madhammer being GMMG's catback supplier. Dont' know if that holds truth. I believe the catback pictured in their site is the same just the angle of the picture makes it look different.

I had an SLP LM1 catback on my old lt1 with no cats stock manifolds, sound wasnt all that great and swapped the resonator quiet a few times for different bullet style muffler and stuck with a powerstick from classic chambered exhaust.

^thats essentially what I have going on...however, Im running shorties into cutouts, down the factory I-pipe (with a powerstick in it) over the axel dumped under the rear bumper...It sounds good but I need to finish the tailpipes/tips cuz it drones pretty bad...LOVE the sound tho...

Wow I've been trying to figure out who made that exhaust for a long time now. Back when I was in high school I had a '95 with LT's and GMMG and it sounded like pure sex! I might have to cut off my Bullets and weld these up, thanks for posting OP.

I had decided on a pypes racepro muffler but now this thread has got me thinking of one of these.

I wonder if running one muffler in the back would be too loud since the gmmg runs two and is already really loud.

Damn didn't think this thread would get this much attention this fast lol but no prob guys just thought i'd share with you and see if you guys had any experience. It has got me thinking I have GMMG on my 94z and it sounds soooo good mmmmm and i can only imagine would it would sound like hooked up to some duals. It seems like it could actually be the muffler used in the catback. You guys think it would be something to try out?

go for it if your able to, +1 on the vid. I didnt notice they sold the chambered sticks seperately until just now. hhhmmm only if I had a loud mouth exhaust I could swap out my resonator unfortunatley im stuck with a magnaflow. Trying to save for a gmmg!

seems like GMMG is just two powersticks that are uniquely positioned.

Do you have the pypes muffler on yet? How do you like it? I've got one but also have a powerstick in the i-pipe and it's still relatively loud, I'm curious how it would sound and how much louder it would be with just the race pro. I keep trying to get a better video of mine, but haven't gotten the chance.

Im actually the guy that asked you for a video in another post lol. I havent gotten it yet. I was gonna make it out to summit to pick it up last weekend but something came up. Im gonna be outta town for about 3 weekends in a row so wont get it along with a before and after video for about a month. Im also gonna try to do some back to back runs at the strip with the flowmaster and the Pypes to see if I gain anything at all, along with a no muffler run. im curious to see if Ill have any change in MPH in the 8th or 1/4.

Im probably gonna stick with the racepro over the madhammer. I think a madhammer will be too loud for what i want. The flowmaster is already to loud and drony imo. How loud is your racepro vs say a magnaflow?

Well, sometimes I think it's pretty quiet, sometimes I think it's kinda loud. It's probably almost the same volume as a flowmaster, but I don't have drone. But remember it will be louder than mine because I have a powerstick too. I'm gonna try to get a video when my dad gets home, I've been procrastinating, it's time to just film it. Still, I think racepro will be a good choice, it gave me exactly what I wanted after running a TSP rumbler for over a year. Right after I got it I thought it was too quiet. Madhammer is too expensive also.

Now I'm 100% sure madhammer is gmmg's exhaust supplier since they say it for themselves:

Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chamb...item3cad1dcd57

madhammers fbody catback is basically a gmmg catback but i think madhammer sells them for more $, cheaper to buy from vengeance.
