what can i remove from my lt4??? I have a 95 lt4 and im doing alot of work on it, need to know what i can remove from the engine that i dont need????? i just put longtube headers off road y-pipe slp catback new air intake 3.73 gear and it was smoged and past. just trying to remove **** i dont need.

You don't need emissions stuff (AIR and EGR) but if you have to pass a smog test then you can't get rid of that. Other then that get rid of accessories if you can live with out them, a/c, power steering then relocate the alternator and get rid of the big accessory bracket. But other then that stuff I'm not sure what you want to get rid of.

Only '97s came w/ LT4's from the factory, and I think just over 100 were made between the SS's & 30th anniv's? I dont know exact #'s. He or previous owner painted the intake red or did the LT4 specific heads, intake, timing chain, & etc swap.
