Default moroso oil pan, trans lines

put moroso oil pan on my 383 lt1 and the trans lines do not line up to trans fittings because of oil pan kick out on pass side. also if i bend lines starter removal will be very hard. could i just splice in a section on rubber trans hose in this area to make future repairs much easier.

run all new lines. i would recommend braided line but you can also check out pushlok. not sure of your setup but i hope if you have a higher stall converter, you also have an aftermarket trans cooler. don't use rubber line clamped to metal line, it will leak and possibly blow off.

If I have to replace any hard lines on the car you bet your *** its gonna be with a hose clamp and rubber hose.

Hell my ac line was nicked by my alternator and I cut it in half and put a piece of flared tube in there with 2 hose clamps and its fine.

Flare the end of the metal line and a hose clamp will be fine.

There is not much pressure in those lines. Flaring the end, hose, and 2 clamps is just fine.

I have the same pan and made up a set of braided lines that run up and out of the way...
