Lets see some pics of your LT1 f-body

I bought 'Raven' brand new back in 1997. Right after I bought her, I installed Eibach Sportline springs, Bilstein shocks and had the windows tinted. In 2003, I dropped in a 450 HP LT4 motor that was lifted from a wrecked 1996 Vette that only had 6,000 miles on the freshly built motor.
The exhaust consists of Jet Hot coated Hooker longtubes, no cats with a 3" y-pipe and tubing, ending with a Flowmaster muffler. People rag on Flowmasters and say that they flow like crap, but I love the sound and I'm willing to trade a few ponies for the incredible rumble that they offer. I also installed LS1 steering knuckles and calipers. I purchased a set of brackets years ago that would enable me to run the 13" brake rotors that I have, but I never did get around to putting those on. I'm thinking about going in a different direction now as far as the brakes go.
Raven is currently under the knife having a set of AFR 1039 competition ported LT4 heads installed, along with a 230/236 Xtreme COMP Cam camshaft, COMP Cams Ultra Pro Magnum Rockers and a new GM OPTI.
I've always loved my stock WS6 wheels and didn't have any intentions on buying new ones. Well, that all changed last week when I saw CHAMAN's car in a thread in the 'Wheels & Tires' forum... his car looks freakin' fantastic!!!
I instantly fell in love with his wheels and knew I had to have a set for myself.
Soooo... I immediately began my search to find and buy those wheels. UNFORTUNATELY, I learned that those wheels are no longer in production. I did however find another wheel that's almost identical to the ones that I was looking for. The only difference is the lack of rivets for that 2-piece look... which I'm totally fine with not having, I think:
I ordered 18 x 9s for the front and 19 x 9.5 for the rear. The rear wheels will be sent off as soon as I get them next week so they can be widened to 13" so I can run 345/30/19s. 275/35/18 is the tire size that'll be worn on the front. The wheels will be wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport ZPs and should fit nicely after the mini-tubs and other rear suspension mods are installed. The wheels and tires should be delivered by next week.
Anyhooooo...
BTW... in the above pictures where there's raindrops on the car, those pics were taken a week ago after dropping the car off at the shop for the motor work. That's the first time Raven has seen rain in over 10 years!

Hey regarding brakes if you are considering 18" or larger wheels you will be opening up yourself to a TON of different aftermarket brake systems. I always wanted to stick with factory looking 17" rims (have two sets of C4-ZR1/SS rims - one set being 11" wide in the rear) so this really limited me to aftermarket brake kits. I ended up going with Wilwood's superlight 6 system. Their LT1 kit sells for $1,330! That's the two piece, drilled & slotted 12.8 or 12.9" (almost 13") discs and big 6-piston calipers (in black). People who've seen these new brakes on my car can't believe how little I paid for them. I mean, that may be telling me something, but thus far they are phenominal compared to the **** stockers from before... I went with Wilwood b/c of price but also b/c they were literally the only 6-piston kit I could find designed to fit under a 17" wheel.
If you do decide to keep your WS6 wheels you'll quickly find you are limited from going with a lot of the "big" brake systems out there. But in that case look into Wilwood's system. Looks badass and will let you face plant your passenger onto the dashboard

Carlos,
Those wheels look like the ones on my friends '98 Formula. I too loved those wheels. We went to a few car meets and his wheels were always a point of interest to everyone that walked by. I asked Brian where he got them and he replied that his girlfriend bought them for him for Christmas a year or two before but didn't think they made them anymore. Looks like he was right, based on what you said. A pity.. those are great looking wheels!
