Lets see some pics of your LT1 f-body

I'll throw my hat in the ring.
I have a rust free 79 Formula WS6. I pulled that old 403 lug out and swapped in a 96 LT1/4l60e out of a Z28. I kept the engine stock and added Hedman longtubes, Magnaflow dual exhaust with X-pipe and had the computer tuned by PCM4less. I kept the MAF setup and had the stock engine harness modified to stand alone. I then reworked the harness to hide most of the wiring underneath the headers tight against the block for a clean look.
While all that was being done, I put a PTFB GT suspension kit on it to lower the stance and improve handling, added subframe connectors to keep things straight, stuck in some 3:73 gears, installed Wilwood GMIII front calipers and new brakes all the way around.
What I ended up with is a stock looking Formula that handles like it's on a rail and will put down mid-13 1/4 mile times at will. It is super fun to drive and is SO much better than stock.
Plans for the future include a stroked LT1 with LE components and possibly a little boost. For now, though, I just enjoy driving her on an almost daily basis.

Here is a 93 Formula I just got my wife for Xmas. I am selling the wheels and putting Prostars on it. And I am going to the normal little stuff to it. Convertor, gear, Nitrous etc, etc.

I'll grab a picture tomorrow. It's just a short cone K&N stuck on the front of the TB and MAF. I have plans to run a proper cold air intake, but it will require relocating the battery to the passenger side and the radiator overflow to a different location. I've just been enjoying driving and debugging it.
95mysticta - Thanks...I've enjoyed every minute of the build.
big_bird_93 - If my budget could stand it, the 17" snowflakes would be a done deal...although I hear that YearOne is about to release 17" honeycombs...which would look oh so sweet!
