Default Walbro 255lph on a stock motor

my fuel pump whines like no other... it works fine, no issues, just loud as hell. I dont know if its about to die on me or what but I figure it wouldnt hurt to have a spare ready to go just in case

I found someone practically giving away a Walbro 255lph

Is this overkill or will it hurt a stock motor? Also, is it any quieter that my stock unit?

TIA

Nope. It'll work just fine. They are quiet as well.

Agreed. I pulled my "stock" pump to replace with dual walbro's during my build, and found a walbro! It had been replaced sometime before I bought the car. Think of it as future mod insurance.
