LT1-LT4 Modifications 1993-97 Gen II Small Block V8

Worn throttle cable? Or Wtf?

Default Worn throttle cable? Or Wtf?
I was setting the TV cable on my 93 z28 the other day when I noticed that when the gas peddle is pushed all the way down, the throttle blades were only about 3/4 of the way open. I mashed the peddle down pretty damn hard and the throttle blades finally went all the way, but it takes a lot of effort to press the peddle down that far and hard.

Is there any kind of adjustment I can make to the cable, or is it just worn out? Time for a new one?

There is no adjustment on the throttle cable..sounds like its time for a new one,its most likely fraid inside the plastic coating.If you need one I have one from a low mileage z28 without traction control.

On my 97 with the ASR there was an adjustment plastic duhickey that messed me up once but completely different setup than yours.
