Default Anyone using a Ring gear spacer?

So, a ring gear spacer to install a series 3 ring on a series 2 carrier. My posi isn't hooking anymore and I have a free series 2 carrier. I tried to swap the carriers, but they are different. I know I've heard the spacers are not really recommended, but it's not like I'm running 800ft/lbs of torque with 33x16 slicks. I'm under 450 tq and getting 295 street tires.

Any using a ring gear spacer? or anyone with an opinion please chime in. What's the worst that could happen?

You can order gears designed for whatever carrier you want. If you value longevity, do NOT use a ring gear spacer.
