97 Hypertech Plus for 94 z????

97 Hypertech Plus for 94 z???? Saw an ad for a 1997 hypertech plus programmer and i own a 94. Im pretty sure it will work up until 2002 but i just wanted to make sure. And what is the difference between the III and Plus model?? Thanks for your help. Sorry if this a dumb question
i dont know y everyone bashes the hypertech, ive done my own testing at a thompson raceway in ohio, the hypertech gained me 3 tenths on avg and after messing with shift points i was almost 5 tenths faster.. i got mine for free and wouldn't pay for it, id rather put the money towards a good tune
but it worked well for me.
my car is VERY consistant and no weather was not a factor on why it picked up, last 2 passes of the day i took the hypertech off and it ran slower
sorry for the rant it just bugs the **** out of me that some ppl just like to repeat what other ppl repeat
