93 Z28 Bolt-on Track Results
I've had my 93 6-speed 128K Camaro for about a year now and finally have it about where I want it. I fully rebuilt the suspension along with Strano springs and bilsteins, put on LS1 brakes, and did a whole tune-up with a few bolt ons. Ran into a bunch of issues along the way, but it's been a great experience.
Ran the drag strip yesterday and ran a best ET and trap of:
2.05 60'
13.57 ET
103.95 MPH
2.01 60'
13.63 ET
105.53 MPH
Only mods are:
Pacesetter longtubes
Magnaflow catback
LPE Intake
Madtuner mail-order tune
I don't know the DA but it was at low elevation and about 70 degrees. It consistently hit 13.5-13.6 and 103+, and I'm pretty happy with it. I'd like to get the 60' down and get to 13.3ish, but when I launched any harder it completely lost traction (worn 275/40/18 street tires). Maybe I'll try drag radials next year, but the 10 bolt is already making some noise.
Does anyone know what 60' times I should be shooting for at this power level?

It was around 70.5 degrees, 36%humidity, and the barometer was 30.01 inches. The track is 910 feet above sea level and the DA at that time was 1883 feet, which is marginal. Your best run was a 13.57 at 103.95 which would be corrected to:
13.279 at 106.285mph
13.279 at 106.285mph

Thats what i hoping to do this year but a well used stock clutch with m/t et streets killed it. The engine is stock untouched with 220k miles which is very high but runs like a top and was impressed with what it did and a ton of room to grow with better launch technique and new clutch. Unfortunatly next time around it will be with my new built motor going in.

3500stall converter
Manual cutout
3.23 gears
ls1 lid
2.01 60'
Your 13.8 couldve been with crappy DA.
Think my car bested a corrected time of 13.4.
to the OP, deffinetly get some drag radials. I reccomend ET streets! i ran nittos and we just didnt cooperate.

I've been here for 25 years & when Heartland Park did test n tune every week I went 90% of weeks. You show me an 11 sec bolt on LT1 & I'll show you that I got a 4 ft ***** (a 4 ft ***** is a lot more likely)

i had one but sold it at the end of last season. yes it was 2950 w/o me in it. There are only 5 guys around here that rep the lt1 nowadays. everyone has gone to the ls based motors. only current example i can show you is a locals 12.60's with just gear, bolt on's, stock weight. the guy doesnt even have 1.6's. the valve covers have never been off teh car. he is going le2 over the winter so then there wont be any bolt on car's around here. If u went out on weekends or to the local yearly f-body/mustang meet you would have seen these bolt on car's tearing up the street
