looking for a lt1 edit cable/softwear that will work for the 96 and up f bodys.

Andrew Mattei @ AKM cables sells the cables and carputing sells the software or they used to but I know Andrew still sells cables..

His site says this about OBD II
Just remember, ALL of the AKM cables are for GM OBDI computers. They do NOT work on any true OBDII system, even though some use an OBDII *style* connector. If you've retrofit an OBDI system in to a OBDII car - we're good..

Either that or look for tunercats obd2, it is out there, just not many made before JET bought the rights to the software. If I had a obd2 lt1 I would really consider converting to obd1 because tuning for them is a lot cheaper than obd2. I may be biased I have tunercats and love it, really easy to use.

OBD1 ONLY. No free OBD2 software. Good luck.. Let me know if you ever find any of that. Hell I'd pay you $100 finders fee.
