Please tell me someone has more information about this LS1 headlight conversion!w/pic
I found this thread on a different website and I'm hoping someone has some more information about this conversion. It looks like they just took out the old lights and mounting assembly and put in the new ones? I think it looks incredible. PPLLLLEEEAAASSSEE if anyone has done this or has any information I would love to hear about it. Either way... obviously it can be done. I'm going to do it this winter so I'll take pics if no one else has any. I cant stop looking at this picture... my only problem with my car is the ugly (yeah..sorry everyone is entitled their own opinion no matter how much you might disagree ) front end. Maybe I should just specify the headlights, if this pictures had a 2.5" harwood hood.... oh man

Yeah, I'm curious to see it from a different angle, but I'm sick of the 4 eyes look. In my opinion it's the most outdated part on the car. I like this a lot better than the "terminator" or "robot" style piaa HID's or whatever they are, but I'm looking for something different all together. I've also seen the very thin rectangle lights and they dont look bad, but..... I think this is still number one. I like to keep it somewhat stock looking while still being able to tinker and change up the little details. And what better way to do that then to use stock parts, even if its not from my year As much as I love it when someone actually notices the LS1 lid on my LT1, it's almost just as good as the people that have no idea.

You guys realize it still has the 93-97 front bumper right.... no catfish there as far as I can see. I think it looks good with the different headlights and as said it opens up the bulb options big time.
Everyone is allways complaining about the light brightness on the 93-97 Camaros and Firebirds.

I think it looks good actually.I cant get over the fact that it looks like a transformer face... kind of like it got stuck when it wanted to transform back into a car...

Yeah, I've googled the crap out of it, but no luck. The site I found this on is ltxtech and I've checked out the thread on camaroz28.com as well but not a lot of information, just a bunch of people saying if they like it or not... sounds familiar hahah. I'm parking the car for winter next week so I can start deconstruction. The best price I could find was an ebay auction for $39+15 shipping for each side and it comes with the mounting brackets, and they're used. I might go for it and start some test fitting. If this happens I will definitely be taking some pics and writing a little something up for you guys. The more I look at it, I almost prefer the way the 93-97 bumper looks with the LS headlights more than the original LS front end. My car is all black so I'm pretty sure it's going to look bad ***, I cant wait to mock them up. If anyone knows of any headlights cheaper, I would appreciate it.

Does not look good imo but I honestly think the stupid halos should have been forgotten about years ago and people keep on buying them
Maybe a set of stock lights with the whisler mod but I think you would have to shave the bumper cover to match the contours of the headlight and I'm not going to do that unless I had a junker to chop up.
I'm suscribing to see where this goes though
