Good deal? Well finally got a price out of my machinist today and he told me 900 bucks for the 355 short block with regular pistons or 1k for forged pistons. This is all the machine work the crank balanced and everything. So what do you guys think?

Sounds decent to me too, hopefully you're considering a cam upgrade and what are you planning for the heads? At least cam-match the head components and rebuild the heads w/improved parts, port match, hand-port, etc, unless you're not planning on aftermarket heads.

Well this is the start of the project god knows when I'll get it done lol but getting it started and yeah plan on doing an LE2 package in the future that or have my guy port the heads because seeing the stuff he's built i wouldn't be to scared to let him do it lol
