Congrats
Thanks! But you're running quicker in your boat lol

I'd really like a 6.60 out of this setup with the HR cam in there. I think if the nut turning wrenches can figure out how to get the suspension dialed in, it will go mid 1.3s on this gear and converter. I've got a local Stock racer I've been talking to, hopefully I can pick up some tricks from him Then comes solid roller and nitrous

I have no doubt you'll get there with the current engine setup. From the first runs on mine to where I am now, I've gone from 7.2's to 6.9's, and that's with a chassis that was already dialed in. You have more on the table to play with. When you really get it to hook, you'll go faster with quite a bit more air in those slicks.

I like to run about 16, but was all the way down to 13 at Cecil on Sat trying to compensate for the poor starting line. 16 might sound like quite a bit for a 30x10 tire, but it's needed for all the weight that gets thrown on it when it hooks.

ive played with mine and its seems like anything over 13 and it wont hook......i been running 11.5-12 in mine and it hooks but i have noticed in pictures that the rim is really close to the ground becauase of all the flex in the sidewall....and also the low air makes it a bit wiggly down the track on the high end......id like to get more air in them.....and my tire is smaller than urs too im a 28x10

Tubes or stiffwall at our weight! My **** skates all over the place and I'm only going 100 tops. It felt better with 12.5 just wouldn't hook worth a ****. I'll bet getting rid of that sidewall flex is worth a few hundredths in 60', plus it won't unload so much after the initial hit, plus R/T will be so much more consistent if you race brackets. Just think about how long the sidewall will last slamming the tire down like that... 40 passes maybe? The radials will be more hit and miss with the tracks here, but that's why i'm stepping up to the 29.5 to gain some rollout.

Not bad at all for the first couple times out! Its got way more in it.
Man I wish our season wasnt over. I never got to test out my new set up at the track. I can say on the street the Drag radials hook pretty damn good with the afco shocks out back. I would even say they work better than the QTPs I had on the car. I also had the same prob with the rim almost bouncing of the ground, the radials should solve that problem.

any idea what the car weighs?

the mph seems very low for a 13.5:1 389" motor.

gets off the line good.

No idea on the car weight... I'd say around 3300-3400 with me in it, I haven't cut anything on this car, door bars still in, etc. Yea the mph is low, but I have at least 2mph just in fluid changes, alignment, and shift point adjustment I only have 2 full 1/8 passes on the car, and 1 good datalog. There's alot left in the tune no question.
