Default Considering Different Piston Rings

For the 398 CID LT1 build I'm into, I'm consider using piston rings I haven't used before and am hoping someone has used them and will give me some feed-back on them.

They're: Speed-Pro R-19100s and Perfect Circle 315-0036

I'm going to write this last part, even though I know up-front that it won't be heeded, but I'm only looking for feed-back on those two rings. Not alternate/substitute recommendations like "You should use blah, blah, blah". PLEASE!

Thanks,

Jake

Well, seems no one knows about those two piston ring types. Guess I'll check on a few other Forums; maybe someone there has run them or can give me some feed-back on their pros and cons.

why do you think you need hellfire rings for this motor? maybe a thread more likely to get responses would have included some info about the motor instead of just 398 CI.

I was hoping not to have to get into this, to have to justify my choices. That's why I specifically asked for feed-back only on those two ring sets. I even high-lighted what I'm looking for so as avoid getting off-topic. Hell, I even wrote "PLEASE".

Once I start down that road I'll be receiving personal preference responses and won't get feed-back on the rings I'm considering.

There are some things that you would be much better off to ask a competent engine builder than people on the internet.

How do you expect feedback on rings when you give no information on what the application they would be going into is?

Obviously no one knows. That's okay, not a problem; there's nothing wrong with 'not knowing'. So far I've received several responses from members on other Forums who are familiar with those two sets, I'm just looking for a few more. Just part of the 'homework' I do when considering such a move as I am now.

I'll just keep asking around until I find some more members who either know from personal experience or who can point me to tech articles where the pros and cons of each make are discussed.

My new combo has Hellfire top, Total Seal second and standard oil rings and are gapped for a 200 shot on my street/strip N2O setup.
