NITROUS advise
a guys im in the process of building a forged 383 but its going to take atleast a year to complete. and im starting to get discouraged lol.
so i was thinking of installing a nitrous system on my current STOCK motor just to have some fun. Plus it will be going on my new motor anyways.
i want to run a 100shot on this motor. heres my list so far
nitrous outlet LT1 plate kit
wot switch
window switch
gear lockout
fuel pressure cutoff
timing retard box
BR7EF plugs
walbro 255 fuel pump
is there anything that im missing?
Also nitrous outlet offers a complete system for 1350.00. has anyone used that kit and is worth it over their 749.00 system?
and last.
Im not going to be spraying in first gear.
And i read that your not supposed to spray in 4th either. Is that true? i can only spray in 2nd and 3rd.
i have a performabuilt level 2 transmission with a 3800 converter

dont worry bout pulling timing on stock tune. i sprayed 150 50 times withoout pullin timing. If u have performabuilt tranny and sticky tires than why would u not spray in 1st. I ran 11.2@120 with 1.61 60ft with same tranny and stall. with only boltons, 3.42 gear, ans not pulling timing

The reason i dont want to spray in first is because i have a stock 10 bolt. And i dont want to chance destroying it.
and i know your not supposed to spray it in overdrive but what if it just in drive? then is it okay to spray it 4th?
