Default lightweight flywheel recommendation

i've been trying to find a lightweight flywheel for my lt1. i'd preferably like one thats 12-14lbs. i dont want a super lightweight one, the only thing ive found so far was a spec (if i remember right) and it was over $400. i can get an 8lb one for 270.

does anyone know where i can get a 12-14lb one for ehhh 300ish?

I actually bought the flywheel used, and I'm running it with a Spec 3+.

By the way, I've read countless threads where people claim that an aluminum flywheel makes a car difficult to drive on the street and to launch at the dragstrip because of less inertia. However, now that I've driven my old engine combo with both a heavy factory flywheel and now the current aluminum, I'm gonna call BS on those myths.

couldnt agree more. i think they are very similar. its not like the crank magically gets 50% lighter too. not to thread hijack but does your spec 3 have a valeo stamp on it?

Honestly, I don't remember. But probably so. I'll have it out of the car again real soon, so I'll be sure to look
