Help design my exhaust
k well i need some help with a new exhaust setup. im going with pacesetter long tubes race style and after that im at a loss and want the lt1 sections help. the car is going to see very little street and mostly track time. so set me up with an exhaust system from after the headers all the way back and include a cut out. thanks for your help

Since you want a cutout, I would assume you want a full cat-back instead of a true dual/dump-type system.
I run LPP long tubes into a y-pipe with an electric cutout on the I-pipe running into a Hooker cat-back. It's quiet when I need it and loud when I don't. Watch the vids in my sig if you want to hear it, cutout open of course.

I would say 3 inch duals under the axle with removable tailpiles would be a good choice. You could unbolt the tailpipes and run them dumped at the track and put them back on for the street. If you want to stick with a catback Hooker or Magnaflow would be 2 good options.

i have pace setter long tubes, y pipe, 4 inch merge, and goes back to a 4 inch bullet with a turn down that kinda angles to the passenger side. I love it. But its only on there for the track an the use of the O2 bung thats welded in there that allows me to use the wideband. my street exhaust is slp 2otl cat back.
