Ptc 4000...500 shipped to my door. I cut 1.4x short times on motor, I would say its a good converter.
Trans cooler, iirc run about forty or fifty bucks. Been a few years since I have bought one.
You can install it yourself or find someone to do it, most people will do it under 200$.

For the money, you cant beat it.

Well we will see I was going to do some 1.7 rockers then head to the Converter but i got some pondering to do about how i want to spend the cash. 400 on some nice DR's was the thing I HAD to get so tired of 2.2-2.4 60 times -__-

Drag radials then converter, get the 60' down and then chisel away with rockers ewp etc. You may need a suspension mod or two also.
Yank $725, Hayden 22-24k cooler $50, filter and fluid $20 around $800 or so.

They didn't become NO.1 for their marketing skills and that's average for a quality converter. Their SS line is awesome.

Lol ok.. I have discussed this to so many yank swingers it is old. Plus im on my phone and not typing it all out.

Ptc sells for 450$.. you saying thy don't make a quality converter? I cut 1.4x times on motor with an average head cam full weight car in 2000+ DA. I can give you so many setups it is ridiculous. On average, yank does not impress me. They deliver, just nothing above and beyond.

I have done my research, not just took 500 peoples word for it.. some that have never even owned the converters. It is pathetic how gullible and uneducated some people are on this board. If ten people say it, it must be true!! Hahaha

My input I guess.... merry Christmas!!

I want to clarify that I think yank is a very respectable company that produces a quality converter. In my opinion, there are one or two brands above them however... especially for the price.

Stock stall on street tires I pulled a 1.94, that was my best. On MT E/T DRs, I ran a 1.91. I have trouble getting my 60' down. That was last year before I started doing all my turbo work.
