Default exhaust help

i need some input on guys running pacesetter headers. has anyone had trouble tunning with them cuz ive been trying to get my car to run right but the o2 sensors are way off. bank 1 will be giving fuel at idle while bank 2 will be taking fuel away. ive already double checked the intake manifold all the fitting, and everything is all sealed up. im going to be putting some hooker headers on and see if that fixes my problem. just wanted to know if anyone else has had the same or similar problem with pacesetter headers.

You sure you don't have an exhaust leak? Or even a bad o2/ burnt wire?

yeah no exhaust leak, its a brand new harness, and o2 are new ac delcos. just got finished with the exhaust the scanner will let me know if the header swap fixed it. just have to wait till tomorrow. i was also reading up on the bbk throttle bodies and how they need to be adjusted, i will give that a try tomorrow or might just put the stock one on to see if that helps.

finally got it running good now. and i got some info on the hookers. if anyone really thinks they r much better than pacesetters check this out absolutely no power gains with them on my car with a cutout.

There is undoubtedly more to this than meets the eye.

Headers alone don't cause issues, unless they were brand new and any oil/crap burned off and fouled out the O2s. You can't blame the header.

Besides doing the header swap, what other changes did you make?

i covered the idle air control valve passage way on the bbk throttle body and made it so the hole lined up with the manifold hole and drilled a small hole through it. i also found out i had the brake booster hooked up to the wrong port on the edelbrock manifold. but i was wondering y the hooker headers and the cutout didnt make any hp on the dyno.
