Default Murdered out Formula.... Time for a change?

My car is completely murdered out right now... everything is tinted, and it has the stockers painted black... With the exception of a Carbon Fiber 98-02 Ram air hood.

Thinking of getting a Set of SS 10 spokes, stock aluminum color... Dont want it to be too flashy, but i think it will stand out against the all black... Maybe later down the road, get them chromed?? (How much does that cost)

Also, thinking of getting a Set of Honeycombs, Plan on tinting them out but leaving reverse light un-tinted, i like the Circular reverse light on these cars more then the grid style...

Good idea? Bad idea? Any input?

Do you think Aluminum 10 Spokes would look good?

I think aluminum 10 spokes look horrible period. I think if you made them machined face (strip them down completely and paint the vents black) that would look good or my friend I believe has a set of gloss black 10 spokes sitting around.

Car looks decent as it is now. Wheels are more of a personal "whatever your taste is" item. What I would do if I had that car is remove the gay chrome vinyl that says "NOT A T/A" and then put the stock hood back on. For wheels I would go Weld Prostars but as I said thats just a personal preference.

Its not "chrome", it matches the Silver " formula" on the bumper. I've been thinking bout getting rid of it.

also been thinking of getting the LT1 ram air hood from my friend ... 150 for oem hood? Not bad.

I was thinking maybe draglites.

I have a set of '96 WS6 wheels that would look good on a dark or black car... they're the bright silver w/polished lip version

ditch the hood for something that actually fits right. looks horrible, and the "Not a T/A" decal is gay.

chrome rims or blacked out rims with like a chrome lip. too much black IMO right now. you need something to break it up a little.

Hmmmmm....

Would Aluminum Rims look ok, like C6 Zo6's?

Chrome is too expensive new.

Too many people have ZR1's.

Never been a fan of those hoods either, but it isn't horrible. You could pick an accent color to break up all the black.

Some blackbird style stripes from 4thcircledesigns would look good on the hood, along with some chrome or polished aluminum wheels. You could also look into "formula" door emblems in the same accent color to break up all the black too.

silver, red, white, orange...whatever you'd like.

also...PLEASE do not get 10 spokes!

I was thinking ...

-cowl or 97 WS6 Ram air hood.

-Black or Aluminum C6 Zo6's

-Silver "Formula" door emblems, too match the silver formula on the rear bumper.

-Silver Bird/"Formula" on the center tail light panel??? (Still Questioning that)

WS6 hood looks the best out of anything IMO on LT1 birds.

I've never been a fan of C6 wheels on the LT1 formulas. To me, they look kind of goofy with 18's/19's (MOST OF THE TIME) because there is no side skirts like the trans ams have. IMO, 17's are the way to go on a formula, and most of the C5/6 designs look weird in a smaller diameter rim. That's why I went with the 17" ZR1's.

Silver looks great, thats what I started with too, however, I am switching over to white accents.

My rear tail light panel is just black, doesn't say anything and doesn't have the bird either, and I really like that look. If you do go with a filler panel decal, make it the same color as the rest of the accents, and have it say "formula" up top and have the bird below it.

I dont want to have the same hood as everyone tho. You dont see many Firebird's with Cowl Hoods, i think they look bad ***

TOOOOOO MANNNYYYY people have ZR1's, i love those rims, but too many people have them.

I had planned on doing it the same color, "Silver".

Does the "Formula" on the rear bumper come off? Im just wondering if i can remove it?
