to install a vented opti wrong? lol I just put a new one on and the car wont start.. it kicks but wont fire over.. I though it just goes in the dowel on the slot that is squared at the top. Could i have installed it 180 off?

If you are sure the pin is in the right slot, then you've probably forgotten to hook something up (coil, ICM, opti harness, etc.) or your new opti is DOA. It is not possible to install it 180-degrees out as long as it's in the right slot.

if it started before u changed it its wrong installed. that its vented or not has nothing to do with it starting. A LOT ot people have installed optis wrong and having the same problem, when my engine was rebuilted the building (35+ years working on chevy engine including lt) has installed it wrong
