I spy a box for a new flexplate under the old one- which one did you go with? The HD one I posted about works great on my rebuild. Fired right up weekend before last...

Since 2008...n same goes for u. I never seen either of ur cars. I've seen a dark blue ls1 fire hawk cruising around or parked at solo.

As far as my car goes, if she's not on the rd she's in the garage, where it seems to spend most of her life at.

What Torque Converter is that? If if for some reason you break another flex plate replace the Converter. If the mount ring is not true it wil continue to break Flexplates.

How do I know? First hand experiance

The more I think about it the more It becomes clear to me. In dew time ol lt1 is gonna go out. I bet the paper towel did clog up the oil galleries. On a cold start oil doesn't gush out or sep out the push rods.

That is pretty common/normal as it sometimes takes a min to build pressure in the system until you see oil to the top of the rockers.

Ya know this seems like something I would do seeing as I have a habit of setting tools on the intake manifold and if the intake manifold isn't there then yeah.....fill in the blank. Glad it all worked out and I'll be sure to follow that 11th commandment!
