Ok so i guess on my way home from school ill stop at a machine shop and check to see what it costs to have them milled. Also at that rate I take it id have to order different pushrods than the 7.2's due to milling/thinner gaskets?
For the PR length, it depends on how much they mill, but it shouldn't be necessary 99% of the time for that. As far as gaskets that depends on what you had vs what you will have.

Best thing is spend the $15 and get a length checker. I have a brand new one FS. PM me if you want.

Ok will look into it.
Silly question..but at this rate am I better off getting a used s1 blower and running low boost for power/cost?

I'd say no. The amount of boost you can safely run will net you cam only hp. With a few other things you can raise it up to heads/cam power range, but you are running the ragged edge of safe for the bottom end at that point. Whereas a h/c car could do it safely and reliably.

Yeah, was just figuring i could get a used blower, and amybe find a block to throw some forged pistons/rods in ect, but am not realizing that the build cost for that would get my a nice set of heads ontop of my cam.

Oh well, fun thought

Back on track: Are the NSA rollers really worth it? It seems that everyone i talk to (some of those gods of LT1 headporting as well) seem to have no problem running a SA rocker on a cam only (maybe head) build, at all.

Like zero doubts.

SAs are fine for most people, but for those who want the added stability in the higher RPMs, NSAs are the way to go. And for only the added cost of guideplates, it makes sense (assuming you're replacing the pushrods with hardened ones anyway).

Yeah the pushrods i get would be the hardened trickflows of measured length. Also the added cost of the 7/16th stud (all the NSA seem to be 3/8th?) but its chump change in a swap.

You can get NSA rockers for 7/16" studs everywhere. I have ARPs.

For the ultra pro mags it seems to be either 7/16 for the NSa or 3/8 for the SA

Pushrods 86.95 TFS-21407200
Studs 42.65 134-7103 (ARP 7/16th)

Front Cover Gaskets 15.95
Spring kit 226.95 10308-1 (crane double kit?)
Lifters 129.95 12499225 (GM lifters?)
Timing Chain 15.99

Anyone know if LE sells his cams alone, and about what they run? Anything i seem to be missing?
I paid about $19X from a site for my Crane kit, now I'm selling it to make my own hit for about $70 less then you have.

The 224/230 LE cam should be fantastic, my car isn't a total DD so I ended up with a 306, I'll see if I needed to go smaller .
