Default low gas mileage??

It seems like my first half of tank would last a good while but once i pass the first half it seems like my gas mileage is just shitty, it goes down real quick.

So is this normal on these cars?

yes

gas tank is funnel shaped so when the gauge shows 3/4, you're actually at 1/2. if the needle points to 1/4, get gas cuz you're coasting on fumes

I've ran mine on "E" I know it's bad for the fuel pump. But mine seems pretty accurate. I get 28mpg on the highway with an M6 and 3:42's. Do they make aftermarket ones that are more accurate or something?

Nope.

You should always fill up when you're down to the last tick. Any lower and it can be mucho bad for the fuel pump.

$3.00 a gallon? Are you using regular? Or 91+ octane, like the owner's manual recommends?

I can get 91 for under $3.00

You must not know that this board is nationwide and gas prices aren't the same in different areas or states.

91 octane is right at $2.99 in my home town.
The gas gauge thing is normal. Although I'm not sure why you guys get about 12mpg?

You sound like a little kid bragging about how you got a Jello Snak-Pak in his lunch box. ****, you probably still do!

The OVERWHELMING majority of the country is averaging $3.00 a gallon for regular, while premium is averaging $3.40. If you guys can get 91 that cheap, that's just downright magical!

I wasn't bragging, just pointing out something to you. Also all that was in my lunch bag was two bologna and cheese sandwiches. I would brag if I got a snak pak in it.
