I am really sorry about this guys. When I originally looked into these bellhousings I was told they would fit LT1 cars without any issues. I finally heard back from my contact at Quicktime yesterday and he informed me that he was aware of this issue but wasn't able to do anything about it right away. He said it is about 3/4" tp an inch that is off with the LT1 starter. He said the bellhousing was designed off of a Gen1 small block with a different style of starter. A mini starter will solve the problem. But I asked him how I was supposed to sell his $500 bellhousing and tell the customer they have to buy an expensive mini starter too. He unfortunitely didn't have a good answer for me. My only suggestion would be to run a mini starter or modify the bellhousing to clear.

First Strange and now this. What exactly is the starter issue and what has to be modified for it to fit? I have an LT4 starter. I've got the transmission out and was about to pull the clutch and pressure plate.
