Default 100 Shot '93 z28

How would my car handle a 100 shot. basically stock check my SIG. I run 13.7. with DR and the 100 shot what do you guys think i could run? and what mods would i have to do to handle the Nitrous. I am also getting a chip for the car. Any help would be nice. I could tell pcmforless that i run nitrous i'm guessing they'll pull timing to help with nitrous. or would i be okay with the N/a chip. Anything will be helpful. thanks guys!

I was running 12.90's@107 in my car with about the same amount of mods 1.92 60' with a PCMforless mail order tune. My car was a standard tho. I sprayed a 100 shot and went 12.1's@114 w/ 1.96 60'. If you can hook I say about 8 tenths. All I did was run a colder plug. I think it was either a TR6 or a BR6EF. I didn't pull any timing. I think the rule of thumb is 2* for every 100hp. I usually run NA and don't spray a big shot even when I do spray.

I'm running 13.7 @ 99 and 60 ft time of 1.912. i was also having tranny heating problems. i think i fixed that and i should be around 13.6 or a little quicker. im hoping if i get DR's with the 100 shot and a tune, i could run atleast 12.8-12.6. possible i think...i hope lol

Yea, I don't see 12.8-12.6 being an issue if you have good bottle pressure. It was like 70* when I ran and I didn't have a guage to know what the bottle pressure was. I'm sure I was on the low side. I think your car would be significantly quicker if you were running a 3600 stall and some long tube headers instead of those shorties. Those are a couple things to think about if you're going to be modding the car more in the future. Good luck.

So figure I got Drag radials, a 3600 stall( mine actually doesn't say what it came with. it is a 10" non lock up. I am not exactly sure), 100 shot, and maybe drop 100 lbs off the car. You think i could get away with 12.5 or a little quicker? Thanks for the response! and those LT's seem so perfect. wish i had 300 bucks! i want them with a 3" Y + HF CAT and my borla. hoping for good rwhp! and 1/4!

I say 12.50's is definitley doable. If you do some searching there are people that run those et's with full bolt on's and weight reduction on just motor.

You should be alot faster, I ran 13.17 through manifolds. Talk to Alvin @ pcmforless.

100 shot will be fine. Ive been sprayin a 125pill with no timing, no issues. Get some TR6 plugs, and youll be fine.

I ran 12.30, but with a 2.1 60ft, on nitto dr's.

You should run mid 12's with just bolt-ons.

Not bad for a street tire, throw in a Yank SS 3600 and get some 1.7x 60's. It will improve the 1/4 times.

Trying to keep it a budget while i build another project. I may just keep my stall which by the way, im not 100% sure on the stall speed...its just a 10" non lock up. maybe keep it with street tires and some long tubes...and the 100 shot im not sure though

Why did you get a non-lockup converter? Im looking to buy a 26-2800 stall soon but I want a lockup converter.

I ran an 8.4 with a 2.1 60' in the 1/8 when I had shorties, ORY, 3000 stall, 3.73 and tune only. No suspension or anything weight reduction.

Something isnt right with your car.

That is not enough converter for the LT1.

^For a hotcam it should be. Its never gonna be raced, I just want it to stop the mild cam surging it has when you first take off.
