What is a safe Rev Limiter Setting 4 me?
What is a safe Rev Limiter Setting 4 me? Just finished my LT4 hot cam install. Still need to do the PCM. What should my rev limiter be set at? It's at 6k now. Thinking maybe 6300-6400? See Sig for details
Thanks guys! Ya, cam sounds good. No tune yet so I assume it might sound a little different after tune! Dont wanna get too crazy with the car because it was my moms and she left it to me when she passed away.

i would go 6300 at the most. i have mine at i think 6000 and its enough for me. It should sound choppier once you get the tune. atleast mine does idk....

You need to shift at 6400-6500, mine is set at 6400 with the stock cam. Lower is safer but will hinder your track times. They never had rev limiters till they came out with EFI.
