oil pump gasket?? Its been a few years since I built a motor, and I'm starting to get the new Lt1 ready to swap in. I cant remember if there is a gasket between the oil pump housing and where it bolts to on the rear cap?

Hi,no gasket/prime pump/use new bolt that doesn't bottom out and a little locktite. You want the pump to seat properly /improper bolt size/length can make issues for you. Have a great day...jim
