Default 24lb injectors

I have a 93 TA and was wondering if there is any advantage to 24lbs injectors? Thinking about making a 58mm intake manifold and throttle body

If you have a free set, ok... no real advantage going from 22 to 24, in a batch fire setup. 94+ is sequential, MAF controlled. 58mm won't really help a stock engine much. You might make that part of a later upgrade strategy. BBK or TPIS, spend that money elsewhere first.

No advantage, smaller ones actually atomize better.

I wouldn't worry about injectors until you throw a cam in it and you notice the duty cycle rising.

^ True. Putting bigger injectors in it will do nothing unless you actually have a need for more fuel. Upgrades to the fuel system are called "supporting mods" because they are changes you have to make in order for a "horsepower increasing" change to work.

No real benefit to doing any of these mods on a stock car.

Its even debatable as to if a 58mm TB is even worth doing to even a bolt on car...

What is involved in doing the cam, do I need to drop the engine? I wouldn't mind picking up a bit more power, but I don't want to do too nuts right now, I just need to develop a plan.

I would leave the stock injectors in place if they are good, and as far as the throttle body is concerned ..on a stock motor you will be dissapointed, any gains you get will be minor.

Start with Long tube headers, cutouts, a good catback, cold air intake, and a tune.
From there, work on the suspension. Suspension cuts off time at the track just as much as any other bolt-on, and makes the car fun to drive too. Subframe connectors, shocks, springs, tires, lower control arms and relocation brackets, ect. ect.

Tons of options on each part too

There are 3 types of cutouts.

1). Weld in replacement-just a piece of pipe that replaces the catalytic converter(s)

2). Manual- a "Y" pipe that you can weld anywhere in the exhaust that ets you choose between the current entire exhaust setup, or open exhaust. I requires on manually unbolting a plate to open it up.

3). Electric- flip the toggle switch and you have open exhaust! Just like a manual one design wise, except you dont have to unbolt anything, it's electronically controlled from inside the car.

cam is some work you have to remove the valve covers rockers and pushrods then take out the radiator the fans and the tranny cooler the water pump the opti and the timing chain cover most recommend dropping the oil pan as well. If you know what your doing it can be done in a weekend but there is a lot involved I also recommend having a friend to help.

For first time mod with little work and money but good return on power and some work you can do yourself. I would suggest:
Installing 1.7 roller rockers.
And bypassing the cat with a straight pipe.
Maybe K&N air filter.

nope no need.....it will only make the car run a bit richer actually with out a tune which is a step in the wrong direction.............as for the 58mm TB....kinda overkill for a stock motor.....chances are you wont see any gains or very very minimal ones at that.........id start with exhaust.......headers an ORY and a cat back......then address the air intake......get urself a nice ram air setup/CAI......then tune it.........

that should get ya started.....get to it
