I've never had a problem with him. I met him once at a Shop's BBQ. He is cool as hell and knows a ****-ton about motors, and not just LTx or LSx stuff.

Ditto.
Was it meant as a joke?

I love the two random quotes from some dude with zero background. No defense, nothing. I could make a quote talking all I want about you with no background, post it here and everybody is supposed to take that as gospel?

How about the rest of the thread?

The thread has nothing to do with Bret Bauer. It is a thread about some Mustang guys from ft. worth. Here is the entire thread:

Not sure why it was even posted in the first place or who "Shaun T" is.

ss rrr i forgot the name of the site where bert was claiming he had something to do with the motors in a winning team that won the 24 hours of Le Mans in Daytona . then the guy that owns the company came in and busted his bubble in public. i just cant remember the name of the site with those posts (new laptop lost all my book marks, ops). if someone can produce that link and i know they will. you will see his true character. as far as the links above to that mustang site, i believe that person is acting just like bert always did.

speed demon,
I'm still wondering about that dyno graph.
A torque peak way up at 4700-4800, but then all done by 5800 ???
350/355 ? cam only? fuel problems? ignition problems? valvetrain problems?
Nice smooth AFR curve.......fuel and ign must be ok. ......valvetrain problems ???
Did you ever get it fixed? I assume so; the numbers in your sig sure look better than that.

Looks very similar to my friends CC306 cam only graph. But he peaked 300rpm higher.

But that definitely looks like it had issues and was going to peak at like 6400 or so... which makes it look like a cam very similar to the 306.

That was on Hardcore LS1 forum. It no longer seems to be around.

seems that's the only info i can find on a date on or about when that site died. bert claimed ties to a racing team out of Charlotte nc (or somewhere close) he claimed he had designed some cams for the company or something like that. when the guy that owns the company actually heard about this, he came to the site and proceeded to let bert know that he was a unknown. a unknown that did not contribute a single thing to that team nor did he ever hear of BRE until this false claim to fame popped up. it was a big stink and actually opened a ton of peoples eyes, about how and who this TB porter really was. i can't remember all the details and such. i am sure other people will add what they can remember from it.

TB Porter? Hrmm, i'm sure there's some LT1 guys that would disagree with you on that. He has done some pretty extensive intake manifold work on a number of TOP LT1 cars.

All this site does lately is bash people.
