Default Need some help guys

I posted a few weeks ago a thread that I bought back from the dead a 1995 z28, it had a powerdyne supercharger on it. Well that thing took a nosedive about a week ago when I could hear some weird ticking sound from the engine.

When we put it on the lift and took the belt off, you can move the supercharger pulley up and down (and sideways) with your hand, so I guess the bearing got toast.

I was thinking of a rebuild, or maybe go with some Ai heads, these power dynes are somehow limited, 400whp is my goal, What do you guys suggest

You looking to replace the bearing in the super charger and still go the boosted route or just go all motor?

I have heard nothing but bad things about powerdynes, I'd sell it as is or get it repaired then decide to sell it or keep it as long as goals are modest.

if you're shooting for 400-/+ rwhp and looking at AI heads that can be done n/a without the powerdyne.

If the bearings and labor are not that much I will consider rebuilding it, but I have read some stories about people rebuilding these things all the time...

I read in the past that people use the same bracket to install a vortech, can someone point me in the right direction?
