The Fastest Bolt On Only LT1's in the World List
#124
its all in the little things. do enough little things and focus on attention to detail and you can make a car do wonders. i'd rather play in the bolt on only world and not spend a ton of $$$ and not break any parts and still get great satisfaction and recognition for doing so.
bolt on only is the best way to go if you want to keep control of your addicition financially

You know I have been reading alot of the posts in here and what I have been hearing is that most everyone drive a 10 second or faster daily driver that is considered the normal anything above 11 is slow now either they are lying or your telling the truth which one is it

I experienced every ET on my way to hi 12s
week one with car on crap tires- 14.6@97
14.54
14.44
14.31
14.20
14.01
13.99
13.84
13.73
13.60
13.51
13.43
13.35
13.11
12.98
All different temperatures, tires and bolt ons of course. The best improvements for me was going to Dragradials and 4.10s damn them 4.10s were the key, car still spun but it recovered on its own.....meaning the car was still spinning but it had a great deal of lateral acceleration!!!!

My old 97 LT1 WS6 with Ebay stainless steel LT's and ORY and SLP LM2 catback (ran a little rich), pulley, 3.73's, yank ss3600, torque arm, CE rear drag shocks ran a 13.024@103.33 with a 1.74 60 ft in ~2700DA
I was happy for what it was!

i wonder why my old setup isnt on this list. i have been thinking of building another lt1 car.
big_t (aka BIGT94z)-12.251@110.22, 96 formula M6, bolt on's, 4:10's, et streets, full suspension, 3200#
vid from april of 09. that car since got sold, parted out and now hardley gets driven (from what i hear)
this was with a stock k member and the suspension not dialed in. It ran high 12.30's in a 2500+da that year at the ltx shootout after doing some more tweaking. i never did get to run it in a low da setting
