Default head gaskets

So i think i may have messed up on the tq pattern for my heads.. I wanna get some new head gaskets.. What is everyone running these days.. I would like to get a gasket that would account for a not 100 percent true deck or heads just incase.. What would everyone recommend.. I have stage 3 heads with a cc306 cam.. wouldn't mind a bump in compression but i realize its not entirely possible with what i want out of the sealing qualities.. Its a stock cube motor with stock pistons

It would only make sense to have the heads checked for straightness when you have them off and have them skimmed if necessary. A thicker gasket offers more compressed thickness and will deal with irregular surfaces better than say a MLS gasket, but the question looms - why do you think your heads/block are not true? If they are THAT far off a gasket is not a 100% fix. Stock gaskets are .049" thick.

By the way, the phrase "stage 3 heads" means absolutely nothing to anyone. The whole "stage x" denomination is a grossly overused and inaccurate way of representing the level of portwork on a given head. SPECIFICALLY, what is done to them, and who ported them?
