Keep Cam....or... Sell to buy Stall?
Picked up a hotcam with some supporting valve train... Will have to buy more parts (New springs (Probably), rockers, gaskets, etc....) for the swap...
Plus, I dont want to risk having the car torn apart and having something go wrong with install, since it is my DD.
I'm thinking maybe I should sell it and buy a Stall?
How hard is it to install a Torque Converter?
What do you think? Keep cam, or sell it and buy a stall converter?

I bought my Yank SS3600 for my old car brand new and I absolutely loved it. It was a great stall and really made it a new car with the 3.73's. That was back when I had just a catback exhaust also.

Marc, your prob right! I hear its the best 750 ill spend on the car?
Yo, 4.10's are fun as **** to drive around town with, they make your car snappy! At 70 I'd say 2950-3000rpm

I'd recommend having it tuned for shift points with the stall or just wait and do a stall and a cam setup all at once and have the car dynotuned or pcm4less, ion, etc. tuned

Agreed, but it'll be more than $750. Stall, tranny cooler, misc. install parts, tuning for shift points, etc.

I didn't even really have to read the OP after reading the title of the thread, because in an automatic car you really can't run an aftermarket cam thats worth a damn without a decent sized stall.
I'm going with the Yank ss3600, which some think is too little, but I do drive a true street car and if I do absolutely regret it later, I'm sure I can sell it no problem and go bigger. Don't skimp out and get a cheap brand converter because you'll most likely wind up sacrificing performance, streetability, and consistantsy.
Tranny coolers are cheap and easy to install-I love my B&M, it was about $70 shipped IIRC and came with everything (fittings, lines, ect.). I'd also invest in a tranny temp gauge before a stall. You'll want both of these for a stalled car, and you'll want a stall for a cammed auto car.

I would never put a Cam in my car without having the stall to match it... Keep your cam and save for the stall. Then put it in the car at the same time or do the stall first.
