No matter what oil you use you will make more power if you change it on the full moon and burn the old oil as a sacrifice.

Better yet, drain the oil out of your inferior LT1 and put it in an LS1.

Sorry to thread jack but I have a quick related question.. I'm considering changing to 10w40 as my valvetrain is quite noisy especially on startup in this canadien winter. When the car gets hot the oil pressure drops right down (bit above red) at idle so I really don't want to go any thinner. I was told the 10w40 would help with the noise but this doesn't seem like a good idea with cold starts all the time. what do you guys think?

Hey:

If M1 comes in Vettes then 3M oil must be the best oil for a Camaro.

It states right on the can, lubes in places other oils can't, how can you beat that.

It must be 3x better than M1, just by the numbers and placement of the M.

It costs a lot by the gallon so it must good, and real thin for better HP.

So I recommend it as the best oil for your 93, that should make you about

525 HP easy, As everybody knows 93s are the fastest.

Just be sure to change it after every time you drive it.

3M oil FTMFW!!

That oil you fry a turkey in for Thanksgiving...I hear that's good stuff. If it can make a turkey taste awesome, think of what it can do for your motor!

Tony, I know where we can get FREE oil. The disposal drum behind the local MCDonalds where they dump the deep fryer! Think about it, not only is it free, but our exhaust would smell like French fries! Yummmmmm.... I'm going to try to steal some tonight!
