I know that the eBay stainless headers were mocked up using the LPP header jigs, so they are in essence LPPs. There is a huge thread somewhere detailing the install and header issues so try a search. IMO, if you're confident in your mechanical abilities they offer a HUGE bang-for-your-buck.

if you have pacesetters why do you want to switch? the pacesetters are virtually the same product if not a little better. Youd be wasting your money unless the pacesetters are rusted/failing

According to what I've seen they don't. They take some massaging.

Also stainless won't weld to mild. So you have to buy everything else in stainless too. o2 bungs, cutouts, etc. I have full stainless true duals, and I'd rather have coated mild steel personally. They look great and will hopefully last longer, but who knows.

Just something to think about.

Uncoated 304 stainless will ALWAYS last longer than coated mild steel. Not to mention, you could have coated stainless headers for LESS than the cost of coated mild steel headers.

man bump what alot of the others say...i installed my stainless ebay headers this weekend that i purchased from ap1ap2.installation was pretty much a breeze. the passenger side header went up no problems.i didnt even have to remove the starter, but i did remove the oil dipstick to route it inbetween the header.

the driver side #1 primary tube had to be massaged twice.one of them was to slightly clear the steering shaft which wasnt much at all..and the second massage was due to the my car being wrecked at some point in its life(evidence of body damage)...it wouldnt flatten out against the head..so 5minutes later it fit like a champ...very much worth the 300 for stainless regardless of the slight body work you have to do to them..

The LPP clones are hit and miss, mostly miss. The good ones were from eworldsales1, but he stopped making them.

The ones from eworldsales1 were stainless pacesetter clones, they pop up once in awhile, a different seller i think, but are a little more pricey, about $500. Never had them but Ive had Pacesetters and they fit flawlessly

Ive installed the ap1ap2/speed daddy headers which are LPP clones and there were some issues clearing the kmember on both sides, passenger side frame rail, and drivers side steering knuckle. Nothing a hammer and grinder cant fix, and u can loosen the steering column and slide it over a tad to clear the #1 primary without having to hammer the tube or grind the knuckle, def worth 300

Try a search there are several threads on these

Mine fit fairly well.

Had to ding one of the primaries, take some meat off the steering shaft, and kmember but it was a pretty straight forward install.

I have a tubular kmember so that was not an issue. I have new motor mounts and had to massage the passenger side frame rail and the primary tube next to the steering knuckle. Nothing too major. Pretty much par for any decent sized header.

ebay headers are taking over lol....bump paying $4-600 for headers that dont even include a y-pipe, or let alone end up getting beatup anyway from stuff in the road when driving.........
