Thanks. Ya'll post up how it fits and where you got it after you install it please. I can't decide whether to buy GM ($250+) aftermarket (ebay $100) or used from the junkyard (probably about $100 for a decent one if I can find it.)

When I had my LT1 front end, I faced the same dilema since my bumper was literally torn in half, I was worried about the fit of an aftermarket one, GMs were more than i cared to pay, and the junkyard ones most were spidercracking or repainted so it was a gamble what was underneath. I ended up just epoxying my bumper and painting it.

Yeah those are the ones I have been looking at. I use to see them on there for $15.00 buy it now plus $85 shipping. LOL Either way you cut it, it's $100. I hope yours fits good for both our sake.

Thank you for not posting those pictures you took of me looking like a
The bumper actually didnt line up too bad just wish it would have the indentation for the camaro logo. Other than that, no trouble and looks a million times better than the previous bumper did. I did have to take out the fender to bumper brackets since those were tweaked from an accident and caused the bumper not to line up right, but the bumper still is sturdy and the fit is better than Ive seen some factory bumpers so Ill take that.
Remind me to do the rear crash support delete next time Im over. I need the support for my car! hahaha "Project Rattlecans"

when this thing is done the new thread will be called "PROJECT RATTLE CANS "SPRAYIN" FOR TENS" because the car is being painted using 48 rattle cans (16 primer, 16 white, 16 clear) thanks to some hook-ups from the local autozone and O'Reilly's.
the goal is to get the car into the high tens on a 10-bolt w/ 3.73's, draglites with 26" slicks, full bolt-ons with a built 355 and ported intake/heads. With just about full weight reduction (no plastics, no carpet, 2 plastic racing seats)

Ummm...you have 28 inch slicks lol Still think I should paint it with a gun, we have the gun and compressor, will get better results, athough granted I can spray can it and have it look better than a Maaco job, still not going to be show quality.

Thank ya'll for posting the bumper pics and info. It looks great!! I think there may be an Ebay special in my future. I have seen some pretty good rattle can jobs, but there is no way I'd do that when you have someone who can spray it there helping you already who is willing to do it. I wish I just had someone who would spray a couple bumpers, a spoiler, and a hood for me. I'd even pay them pretty good. Shops around here want a grand just to spray those few parts.

well I just got a call today from the property management company at the apt. APPARENTLY all the parts on the garage floor "send the wrong message" to other tenants giving them the idea they can take their **** apart in the parking garage. So now this car really is going to be "PROJECT RATTLE CANS "SPRAYIN" FOR TENS, IN THE APT."
but mike, gina's brother has a house out in Libertyville that we'll probably have to take the car out to and get it painted out there. It's not perfect but he's got propane heaters and it's a 2 car garage. at this point, a Maaco paint job would be better than what I got so, for the cost of materials and china buffet, I think I'll settle with it for now. I can always have it re-done in the future.
